We recently had a really fun, relaxing afternoon sipping wine on the patio at Testarossa Winery, and enjoying a great picnic from The Picnic Guild.  The Chardonnay Picnic was restaurant quality, only served in an elegant box.  We especially enjoyed the grilled, marinated shrimp and the basil mayonnaise – delicious!  The Picnic Guild puts out food that is really delightful, and makes the wine taste even better.

As a New Zealander, I’ve had the opportunity to picnic in many parts of the world, but I can honestly say that thanks to The Picnic Guild, my picnic last weekend was one of my favorites.  We had a "progressive" lunch, with our first course at one winery and the Whiskey Glazed Smoked Chicken at the next, and so on -- fun!  It’s great not to have to worry about making a picnic, and yet have food that is really special. My companion and I will certainly order more picnics for our future wine tasting visits to the Santa Cruz Mountains.

I work as a consultant to many professional kitchens, so it takes a lot to impress me.  But a recent experience at Testarossa Winery impressed my husband and me so much, I just had to write.  Our picnic from The Picnic Guild was terrific.  I know how hard it is to create food that can be transported, and served at room temperature, and taste good - let alone continue to look nice.  The Picnic Guild’s food not only tasted great, it was beautiful,  colorful, and packaged in compostable containers.  Thank you!  We’ll be ordering again!

Hey Picnic Guild, just wanted to say we loved our picnic -- the cold Vichyssoise was to die for!  We ate our picnic out on our patio, it was the perfect "Al Fresco" meal.

We recently used The Picnic Guild for our daughter's birthday party at our home.  All the food was beautifully presented and tasted great. The picnic theme of the basket platters was well thought out and received. I would recommend the Picnic Guild for a unique culinary experience.
