Picnic Weather is Back!
Dear Friends of The Picnic Guild,
The weather is finally warming, we've planted our tomatoes, and it's time to dust off your taste buds, go wine tasting and order a gourmet picnic to be waiting for you at The Picnic Guild winery of your choice! Just remember, we need three days notice, and a week for groups of ten or more. And what better way to celebrate Mother's Day? Pair a Picnic Guild picnic with a beautiful wicker basket from our web site at www.thepicnicguild.com, and the Mom in your life will have a day she'll never forget!
Upcoming Events
We will be offering antipasti tastings at the Los Gatos Wine Walk, coming up Saturday May 19, 1:30-5:30 pm. Many merchants, wineries and restaurants will be offering samplings of their fine products. Tickets are $40 in advance, $50 day of the event. www.losgatoschamber.com
We'll also be offering special tastings at the Cooper-Garrad Winery for the Vintner's Festival, on June 2-3, 11-5 pm. $40 in advance or $45 on the day; order at www.scmwa.com. We'll also have antipasti for sale those days. Order by Wednesday and you can have a picnic waiting for you to enjoy under their magnificent eucalyptus trees. Another fun thing we do at Cooper-Garrad, which is also a riding stable, is their wine and eco rides. You can go horseback riding and have a wine tasting and picnic waiting for you afterwards. Remember us for your small group and corporate meetings. Through the past winter (even!), we've been catering a lot of small group parties for some of Silicon Valley's best-known companies at our member wineries. Now that the sun is back, we look forward to serving more of these relaxing, convivial gatherings.
